Responsibilities (timetables, path allocation, and receipt of track access charges)

The TVS is responsible for the entire interoperable standard-gauge network in Switzerland and the standard-gauge sections between Emmenbrücke and Lenzburg, as well as between Zurich and Zurich Giesshübel. It is not responsible for the entire meter and narrow-gauge railway network, three and four-rail tracks or the German and Austrian border sections governed by national agreements.
